About the Congress

On May 5, 6 and 7, 2027, the Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) will host the II International Congress on Humanization of Pediatric Care, a scientific meeting that will be held within the framework of the international cooperation project HUPEDCARE ("Higher education as a driving force for the humanization of pediatric pain care") and which will coincide with the IX International Congress of Nursing Research, Training and Development.

This congress was created to bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, and students to share the latest advances in research, innovation, and best practices related to the humanization of pediatric care. Through lectures, scientific presentations, and discussion forums, the event will foster the exchange of experiences and the creation of new synergies between institutions and research groups from different countries.

Furthermore, the congress aims to promote international cooperation and strengthen the knowledge networks generated within the framework of HUPEDCARE, fostering quality training and the development of innovative strategies that contribute to improving healthcare from a human, ethical perspective focused on the needs of pediatric patients and their families.

Objectives

To promote the exchange of scientific knowledge and the dissemination of research, innovative experiences, and best practices related to the humanization of pediatric care, fostering the leadership of healthcare professionals in clinical practice, teaching, and research.

To promote the development of strategies, methodologies, and technologies that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare, fostering person-centered and evidence-based care.

To foster collaboration among professionals, researchers, educators, and students from different disciplines and countries, strengthening the international cooperation networks promoted by the HUPEDCARE project.

To create a space for reflection and debate that fosters knowledge transfer, educational innovation, and the advancement of research in the humanization of pediatric care and the development of the nursing profession.

To promote the creation of alliances between universities, health institutions and research groups to promote joint projects that contribute to improving the training of future professionals and the quality of care.
